we rely soley on donations of new and good condition second hand items and monetary contributions. we lovingly make gift packages that give families everything they need to start life with a new-born baby or support families with children from 0-5. parents/carers are in the first instance referred to baby basics mk through various local professionals and social enterprises.all families can experience times of difficulty. for some families, these times can be overcome by the support of friends, wider family and access to services, for others they see no way out of the situation. a latest study completed by mk community foundation  estimated (10,900) 17.7% of children are living in poverty,  although some areas of milton keynes show child poverty rates as high as 32%.
