it’s all about fun and friends….we just wanted to design a dream motorcycle meet up that was for us and our friends. we are three friends : sean dunlap , sean westlake and todd werny who have been riding and skating and wrenching together since the 90s . dunlap is a graphic designer , westlake owns the local moto –bar “the fusebox” and i operate “space oddity “ a vintage furniture store and t-shirt shop. we are all original founders of the cretins mc an american café racer club since 1992. we are basically café racer / ratbike guys. but, today almost nine years later , backfire encompasses a much broader spectrum of sub-generas . after spending a couple of decades promoting and advocating and organizing on behalf of our overlooked and under-acknowledged genera of motorcycles , we wanted to design our own event that focused on what we loved and enjoyed about the northwest motorcycle culture. this event would in essence be a response to years of attending bike events where we never fe
