bad idea is inspiring entrepreneurial spirit through the celebration of creativity and innovation! bad idea is an accredited enterprise and personal development programme. it takes the form of an enterprise competition designed to inspire entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and innovation. the methodology has been developed to tackle socio-economic obstacles that deter disadvantaged young people from attempting self-employment, helping to tackle the significant inequalities in scottish society. it has also been designed to uncouple academic assessment from creative and entrepreneurial flair. the programme evolved as part of glasgow’s approach to promoting youth entrepreneurship. through the european union urbact programme ‘my generation at work’, bad idea has been established in scotland and the concept is being transferred to other cities in europe. by pursuing an entrepreneurial project we develop the soft-skills necessary to realise goals and objectives. the participants exponentiall
