badenoch llc is a southfield based, native american owned small business, now in its tenth year. clients include darpa, tardec, office of naval research, the defense science board, and a private investment group in energy. the major focus at badenoch llc is upon combat survivability, especially related to trauma of the brain. there are two ongoing projects in defense: • the badenoch vehicle architecture (bva) is a different way of protecting warfighters in a lightweight, highly mobile combat platform. • bears is a system for measuring and analyzing blast effects in combat to both soldiers and vehicles. badenoch llc operates under a new, experimental business model that employs a lean staff and a worldwide network of subject matter experts, universities, and suppliers. the talent pool includes some of the best resources in the world. the model allows seamless expansion and contraction to meet the unpredictable demands of the defense industry and avoids the risks that come with a long-te
