fallen’s board of directors, all current and former law enforcement officers, recognized long ago the need for immediate financial support for the survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty throughout our nation. our mission is to provide direct financial support within 72 hours to the surviving family member. this assistance will bridge the delay between the immediate needs of the survivors and when federal, state, local and life insurance resources are made available. fallen strives to involve the 900,000 law enforcement officers in the us in this effort through a $25 annual contribution as well as corporate sponsors and citizens that recognize the sacrifice law enforcement officers and their families make protecting us and our families. donations made to fallen are tax deductible under the provisions of the irs code 501(c)(3).
