Badz

four string players on a somewhat different path. badz was formed when florian vogel (violin), frank brempel (violin), johanna stein (cello), and bentai trawinski (double bass) started to look for their very own musical language. the four musicians, who met studying in the netherlands, move somewhere between jazz, world music, classical and improvisation. often melodic, descriptive, with a less-is-more-attitude, sometimes groovy, surprising and unexpected; badz creates musical landscapes with a less conventional strings sound.
