die bag musik rheinland-süd e.v. ist ein gemeinnütziger zusammenschluß engagierter musikpädagogen und wurde um 1971 von ingeborg und bernhard dahlhausen mit dem ziel gegründet, außerhalb der schule musikalisch-kulturelle angebote zu machen und entsprechende kurse und projekte durchzuführen. seit 1975 ist die bag musik ein gemeinnütziger verein und unterstützt bis heute mit mitteln des landesjugendplans und verschiedenen anderen öffentlichen und privaten töpfen projekte, die musikpädagogisch wichtig sind und seit 1971 zigtausende kinder und jugendliche erreicht haben. zu den meilensteinen zählen der ausbau der musik am ernst-moritz-arndt-gymnasium (seit 1971), die gründung der bonner musikschule (1973)
