bahrain airport company (bac) was established in 2008 with the mandate of developing bahrain international airport (bia). a key role is to deliver enhanced and expanded capacity and infrastructure to accommodate future growth. bac also manages the operations and commercial aspects of the airport. since taking over the management of bahrain international airport in march 2010, we have been working hard on several fronts to lay the foundations for change. whilst drawing the plans for a multiple phased expansion of the airport, we have also been exploring and pursuing new ways to deliver improved services. delivering great service through efficient operations with a strong commercial awareness means that we can maximize values for reinvestment. this in turn will keep airline costs to a minimum to support further route development and further growth. of course, bac is only one of the partners at bia that can help make this happen. we will work closely with our many critical partners across
