the bahrain chamber for dispute resolution (bcdr-aaa) is an independent dispute-settlement institution that provides case-managed arbitration and mediation services, operating under two types of jurisdictions: by law: disputes that fall originally within the bahraini courts’ jurisdiction, where the claim amount exceeds us$1.3 million, subject to either at least one party being a financial institution licensed by the central bank of bahrain, or the dispute being of an international commercial nature, and by party agreement: disputes referred by written agreement under the chamber’s arbitration or mediation rules.
