Bake Play Smile

well hello there gorgeous! i’m so excited to welcome you to bake play smile… this is my happy little blissful foodie paradise full of salted caramel goodness, chocolate-laden desserts and pretty much anything covered in sprinkles! oh and of course, there’s a few healthy and savoury recipes thrown in for good measure too (but only sometimes… and not very often!!). my name is lucy and i’m a mum (yay… it still feels amazing to write that!), a wife (equally as fabulous), a (now ex!) primary school teacher, a lover of all things sweet, a total and utter over-organiser, an obsessive neat-freak, and to be honest…. a bit of a stress-head! most importantly of all, i love to pop on my apron and have a play around in the kitchen. mind you, nowadays that involves my toddler will putting on his apron too… which makes things kind of tricky… but fun… hectic… and messy!!!
