sound design is an extension of the users experience. its separated from most forms of sound creation in that we tend not work in a linear manner, our canvas is dynamic, always changing based on the users actions. we build audio jigsaw puzzles that always fit together regardless of the combination of pieces. we aim to enhance the users experience by guiding them through the interface utilizing aural signals. sometimes subtle, sometimes not, but always sounding fantastic and always serving a direct purpose. at balderston.ca we take a holistic approach to sound design. we focus on the ux design. who is this app for? in what environment will people use this app? which devices will it be used on? we use the application to viscerally understand it. we work directly with the developers to ensure a cohesive design. we deliver the highest quality results. in todays society, where almost everyone has a device on their person, poor sound design is a missed opportunity to brand yourself.
