balloons of london is a family run business, owned by two brothers paul and steve durnford. the durnford brothers began their venture in deptford with a modest retail party shop in 1994. in the years that followed the shop took on many directions and they found themselves heading into the balloon industry. within 5 years they had outgrown their premises and moved into a large two storey building, more than doubling the size of the retail shop as well as providing a much needed balloon workshop which enabled them to further develop the business. as the business grew so did the team and once again in 2010 it was time to make a bold move away from the high street and onto a business estate closer to london with the added bonus of free parking, which is essential when delivering or collecting helium balloons. since day one the brothers have been committed to staying hands-on alongside their team to maintain the steady growth of the business. the high standard of service from start to finis
