the bbc was founded in the fall of 2007 after a group of friends discovered that there was a national broomball tournament each year and that the sport was much more than the recreational half-ice version that is more prominent in the baltimore area. this is a club at heart – members pitch in helping to keep score, referee, set up equipment and keep statistics. we are all here to help new members learn and continue to bring the game to more people. it is all for the love of running in broomball shoes, on ice, chasing a ball, and having a blast! if you love broomball, you have to be a part of this broomball club. if you have no idea what broomball is and want to be a part of a fun, yet competitive sport and meet new friends, you too have to be a part of the club! there are 4 sessions september through may and pick up games through the summer. players must be 18+. some equipment is supplied by the club and other items are the players responsibility. there are players of all levels and ma
