our mission is to enhance and diversify the field of architecture by enticing, exciting, and encouraging students of color and minorities to pursue a career path within the architecture profession. as the united states has produced relatively few black architects historically, and an even smaller number of registered architects. this program aims to empower students to achieve their goals in pursuing a career in architecture through mentorship and representation within the design industry. workshops are led by diverse professionals with the purpose of awakening students’ interest in architecture and design. the workshops are customized to suit the needs of students and the organizations hosting them. workshops vary in topics, utilizing creative games, presentations, model-making, hands-on activities, as well as computer modeling. the program incorporates field trips to architectural firm offices, notable buildings in the community, and museums. the program has successfully conducted
