bangladesh environmentalist society is a community based non-profit, non-government and committed research organization, to explore the ecological imbalance and social crisis. bes was registered as an ngo from the rjsc of government of bangladesh. bes was established for conducting research on complex environmental and social issues such as impacts of global warming/ climate change, unsustainable use of natural resources, wildlife conservation and protection. in addition to these, bes has been working on waste management, disaster management, biodiversity conservation, pure drinking water crisis, clean energy solution etc. besides, bes has also been focusing on various social issues such as- de-radicalization and anti- terrorism, labor rights, gender and child rights, human rights violation etc. since 2018.
