Banksia Waste

we are a local company based in perth that is tackling the issue of food waste in perth, australia by collecting your excess food and organics and feeding them to our worms and chickens as well as creating composting solutions. the story of banksia waste banksia waste was born out of a university business creation unit where we were given the opportunity to work on a solution for a problem that was close to our hearts. in australia households create a whopping 34% of the total food waste in australia. this works out to roughly 6800 tons of food waste a day. banksia waste has been set up to provide a place for all that food waste to go, so it can be composted down and reused rather than going to landfill. we compost the organic waste we collect by either composting it or feeding it to our worms.
