Barbosa Film

barbosa film is feministic indie film and tv production company, based in oslo norway. barbosa film has produced several short films, like belles-lettres (2015), manifest (2017), weight of spring (2017), my sister (2017), the manila lover (2019), wimbledon (2019) and daddy’s girl (2020). in 2017 they won an amanda, the national film prize, for my sister. in 2019 the manila lover was selected at semaine de la critique in cannes for best short film. in 2019 they premiered their first tv series nudes (20 min * 10 ep) in collaboration with nrk, the norwegian broadcaster. it premiered autumn 2019 in norway, and will soon premiere on bbc three as their first non-english speaking series. barbosa film is runned by the norwegian, belgium and colombian sisters nina m. and liv j. barbosa blad. nina is the managing director and producer and liv works as director and scriptwriter. barbosa film’s ambition is to produce artistic, contemporary and relevant films and series, with a focus on forwarding
