we make the charts, you tell the stories every product idea begins with a problem. we discovered ours as product and marketing managers in the life sciences industry. for each new project, new product idea or business review meeting, we would conduct an assessment of the relevant market, typically with a deadline of a few days. we would spend the next few hours scouring the internet for three primary pieces of data: market size, growth rates and segmentation. our search usually culminated in the discovery of several lengthy and expensive market research reports. once purchased (after spending several hours convincing our bosses it was a necessary purchase), we would extract the three pieces of data from the 300+ page report and then spend yet more time converting the data into powerpoint slides. we created bare charts to provide an alternative. we are on a mission to identify at least 100 essential and useful datasets for life sciences industries. we make them presentation-ready in edi
