1. software projects i lead the requirements and solution design phases on software projects. i make sure that the solution the project delivers, is the solution the business actually needs. i design out the company's business processes where needed; i then work with the business and it groups to design a solution that meets all business requirements. i work with the business to make sure that the solution supports the business processes we've put into place. i work with the solution architects and project managers to make sure the solution stays within budget. 2. translating strategy into action some companies can experience a disconnect between strategy and execution. this is where a strategic directive will get passed down but not fully implemented. i help bridge the disconnect between what management needs, and what is actually provided. standard deliverables such as the as-is, to-be, business case, and vision document, create an explicit link between management's strategic vision,
