Bark River Pets

our journey started while volunteering at a small animal rescue in west allis wisconsin. we conducted home visits with prospective families looking to adopt; we offered feedback to the shelter to help find the best fit homes/families for the animals. we also went onsite to walk and play with the dogs. during one of our visits to the shelter, we instantly fell in love with this fluffy dog from alabama. he sat wagging his tail with the biggest smile, waiting patiently for his walk. once outside, he rolled over for belly rubs - it didn’t take long for him to steal our hearts, and in the following days, we brought him home. since day one, finley has been such a big part of our lives. we do everything together including hiking, swimming, camping, and even taking trips to starbucks, home depot, and le duc’s – a local ice cream shop. he sure looks forward to his pup cups! one of our favorite activities during the summer is walking to this wooden bridge on the bark river, going for a
