i am a qualified chartered accountant, with 15 years experience. i started barker barnes & co in 2012. i have specialised in working with small business, providing the full range of core accounting services, including accounts, bookkeeping, management accounts, taxation, vat and payroll. i trained with burnett swayne in southampton which became bdo llp. i was also a corporate tax advisor with ernst & young llp.  i have also worked in industry, as a finance manager and i have charity experience, including trustee and treasurer responsibilities
