Barkitecture Austin

barkitecture is a custom doghouse design show, contest, silent auction and, most importantly, a fundraiser! from its inception in 2005, barkitecture has become an austin favorite and gained national exposure. hosted by animal lovers of austin, inc. (a 501(c)3), this architectural dog-centric event showcases prototype doghouses created by austin’s best and brightest architects, interior designers, and builders. an event that’s fun for all ages, drawing in pooches and people alike, barkitecture attendees and their dogs get to check out and bid on these one-of-a-kind doghouses, learn about adoption/animal advocacy opportunities, shop local vendor booths, take part in a dogstume contest, and do other fun activities! this year we are delighted to be partnering with austin pets alive!, lone star doberman rescue, and safe in austin as our beneficiaries! we are also thrilled to be hosting our event at fair market on sunday october 27th from 12 - 4pm.
