he barnes family has been in the automotive business in western canada for the nearly 40 years, starting in 1981 with greg barnes purchasing a general motors dealership in camrose, alberta. over the years, the barnes family has owned a variety of automotive dealerships with brands including gm, nissan, pontiac, and harley-davidson. these ventures have taken the family to many canadian cities such as camrose, prince george, coquitlam, surrey, langley, victoria, kamloops, chilliwack, and vernon. we are truly known as a family organization; brian barnes has been involved in the business since 1999 and has carried out numerous roles in the various rooftops. dayna dueck, eldest daughter of greg, was our office manager from 1999 – 2001 in our coquitlam location. greg barnes continues as president and dealer principal of all rooftops and divisions for barnes garage co., while ingrid barnes, wife of greg barnes, managed marketing and h.o.g.® activities, but has since retired (2012). ashley
