edinburgh's longest-established non-continuously operating brewery can be found in the old horse stables at summerhall; right in the heart of edinburgh's south side. our head brewer and master-in-commander barney is dedicated to making "good, proper beer" using traditional british methods. his 35 years of brewing experience and knowledge coupled with a flair for making weird and wonderful limited edition beers means we always have a core range of proper british beers alongside an ever changing list of specials. core range is volcano ipa, red rye, extra pale, good ordinary pale ale and capital porter.
