bartolomei & company is a full-service residential interior design firm in washington, d.c., with more than 25 years providing interior and architectural design services, custom furniture design and specialty antiques for clients locally, nationally, and internationally. before opening her own firm, lisa bartolomei spent a decade working for large architectural firms, with a concentration on commercial interiors. she studied art and design in italy while earning her interior design degree at the university of maryland, and has since continued her education in the fine arts, architecture and antiques in england, france, italy and at the george washington university. her frequent buying trips to london, paris, new york, atlanta, new orleans and california have yielded unique furnishings and artwork that her clients wouldn't otherwise have access to. lisa is licensed in dc, maryland and virginia, but she's also furnished homes in amman, jordan; palm beach, fla.; greenwich, conn.; new york
