basel pllc is a mission-driven law firm dedicated to building stronger towns and rural communities in texas. we pursue our mission by focusing on three practice areas: 1️⃣ we serve the legal needs of small businesses and small developers in rural communities. 2️⃣ we help local governments reform their land use regulations and economic development programs to build community wealth. 3️⃣ we provide antitrust policy and legal counsel to antimonopoly organizations fighting against corporate and geographic concentrations of economic power. based out of paris, texas, we take inspiration from northeast texas’ long tradition of progressive rural activism. we regularly launch pro bono research & advocacy initiatives to help local businesses, workers, farmers, and civic leaders connect with state and national policymakers – particularly to address consolidation and abuse in agriculture, banking, and other industries important to rural economies.
