the buyers and sellers guide (basg) was founded 15 years ago by business woman and entrepreneur, dora aguilar in rio grande city, texas. having developed both a real estate and construction company, she decided to launch her own advertising publication. when the buyers and sellers guide successfully launched her real estate and construction ventures and her business began to boom, dora knew she had created a winning formula.             encouraged by her momentum, dora continued to reach out to business owners spanning the rio grande valley. as years passed, more companies became a part of the growing advertising publication. today, basg continues to support businesses and surrounding communities by maximizing exposure, aiding in growth and generating wealth.             recently, basg has made some exciting changes in order to better serve companies across the rio grande valley and beyond. basg underwent a re-boot shortly after the new years’ holiday in january of 2017. dora aguilar
