do you live in the borough of basingstoke and deane? are you looking to help your community? if yes, then why not speak to us. basingstoke voluntary action (bva) has provided support and leadership to the voluntary sector in the borough of basingstoke and deane for over 40 years. in addition to providing a volunteer centre and group development team, who provide assistance, guidance and practical support to the diverse groups in basingstoke and deane, bva is responsible for the operation and management of the orchard, a voluntary resource centre, which offers affordable office accommodation and meeting rooms for voluntary groups. our aim is to provide a thriving community hub. bva runs 2 projects; - basingstoke young carers, a charity for young people aged 8-18 that offers the young carer a chance to take a break from their caring responsibilities by providing activities, information, support and guidance to the young person and their families. - the camrose centre is a drop-in service
