basis.point

basis.point is an initiative by the irish fund industry with a vision to make a sustainable and tangible difference to those living in poverty, particularly young people, by supporting charities that focus on education. the irish fund industry is hugely active in terms of providing financial assistance to those in need and is also tremendously engaged in active volunteerism. this assistance is mainly implemented through the csr programs of industry firms and mostly takes place ‘under the radar’. basis.point was formed in 2013 (receiving charitable status in 2014), to supplement this very laudable effort and seeks support from all sectors of the industry, in particular, from individuals, corporates and fund promoters. basis.point reached a major milestone in february 2015, when we made our first multi-year grant to the archways charity to implement the archways basis.point programme delivering incredible years® in dublin’s inner city. this first grant embodies what basis.point is about,
