information on our history, people, events... the long-standing experience and eight decades worth of hard earned knowledge on viniculture render the bassi family a dynamic player in today's competitive greek quality wine market. the company was established in 1925 by a pioneer named anastassios bassis. later, it was passed on to his son konstantine, who expanded the operation and established a model winery in the area of avlona, in attika. this model winery fully utilizes the concept of gravity in wine making. today, it is up to bordeaux-maker tassos bassis,chemist-enologist, to continue the viniculture tradition of the renown wine maker family, who is determined to outmatch his father and grandfather by introducing the estate’s first bottled brand.
