Bastrop Church of Christ

we are undenominational and have no central headquarters or president. the head of the church is none other than jesus christ himself (ephesians 1:22-23). each congregation of the churches of christ is autonomous, and it is the word of god that unites us into one faith (ephesians 4:3-6). we follow the teachings of jesus christ and his holy apostles, and not the teachings of man. we are christians only! we are a growing family made up of people from different cultural, economic, and religious backgrounds and consider our diversity to be a tremendous asset. we are in the process of building a great youth program for our young people, and our hope is to develop a mature christian faith in our youth that will last far beyond their young age. this, we believe, will prepare our youth for present and future roles of service in the church. please accept our invitation to come and see for yourself whether or not these claims are true. you will be welcomed with open, grateful arms by people who
