batayon foundation offers experts an opportunity to volunteer their specialized services for the common good. the organization believes that traditional modes of charitable work can be greatly augmented if patrons can contribute their individual expertise. in the long term, batayon foundation aims to improve the lives around us through education, research, and empowerment. these three major areas of interest do not preclude the organization from furthering other charitable causes. every deliverable of the batayon foundation projects will be openly accessible. project reports will detail the challenges along the way and provide mitigation guidelines for anyone willing to follow suit. “batayon” (“baa-taa-yon”) is a word in bangla which literally translates to “window” in english.
