basoti is an intensive summer program designed to meet singers where they are in their careers, and take them to the next level. great opera performers are masters of many disciplines. basoti helps each participant not only develop and bring all the disciplines together, but the opportunity to practice, receive feedback and then practice some more. basoti is for pre-professional singers who are focused on achieving performance excellence through rigorous training. participants are immersed in intense preparation for multiple unique and diverse performances before opera audiences. through direct experience and the feedback of the opera professionals on the basoti faculty, students identify and focus on techniques that lead them to excel in all elements of performance.
