the baznegar moaser (contemporary reflector) institute of development studies (bmids) was established with the purpose of creating formal space for focusing on and reflecting upon the topic of development and change. this institute aims to adopt a demand-driven, process-oriented and reflective approach towards its anticipated activities, which would include appraisals, needs assessments, planning, monitoring and evaluation, documentation, and capacity building in relation to development endeavours. basically, bmids seeks its role in the facilitation of participatory processes of learning and change.
