building diagnostics & property science (bd&ps)was founded in 2005 with the goal of providing professional engineering consulting services to not only solve existing problems in buildings but also improve the performance of new buildings via building commissioning, building envelope consulting/testing, and evaluating energy management systems. bd&ps provides total building commissioning, leed fundamental and enhanced commissioning; building envelope commissioning and envelope testing services including air tightness testing using a blower door system and window testing. bd&ps’s technical staff consists of individuals with expertise in mechanical engineering, building commissioning, energy management, building envelopes and testing, indoor air quality, and environmental engineering. we have significant experience with investigating and diagnosing problems with hvac and controls systems as well as vast knowledge of diagnostic techniques for testing and analyzing building envelopes.
