be the church is being started by beth & matt schlueter after a couple years of "god-nudges," with a mission of re-energizing and invigorating the church in america. this mission is currently being narrowed and focused. more and more, mainline churches are plateauing and declining. they have turned into just another thing to do on a sunday morning, if someone has the time. they have fallen away from actually doing the work jesus called us to do, to "go and make disciples of all the nations" (matthew 28:19a). our job is to work with local churches to turn this trend around and to help the church be the church as jesus intended it.
