our goal is to reduce single-use plastics and packaging in the beaches neighbourhood. we encourage both businesses and consumers to practice waste reduction together! we aim to empower people with knowledge, sense of personal responsibility, and community to better enable them to make sustainable choices that will lead to low-carbon societies. 1. we invite local businesses to participate by displaying our byo sticker at the door and accepting customers’ reusable containers whenever possible. 2. through community outreach at local events, we encourage consumers to participate by shopping with their own reusable containers wherever they see our byo sticker. 3. we host regular beach cleanups to help keep our shoreline clear of litter. 4. join our beaches reduces community collective (brcc) today and help spread the byo movement through our community!
