beacon records is an upcoming label that allows young musicians to gain a venue to professionally advance their talent. beacon records was founded by christopher lavinio in june of 2010. his experience and love for music has enabled him to successfully create a network within the music industry. with these connections he has established, he created beacon records with the eye for potential talent, and ideas on how to develop it. this company strives for excellence and the hope that it will inspire young musicians to pursue a career in the performing arts. beacon records started as a small company that would sign artists to generate popular music. the term popular music has become a generic term and has become incredibly watered down over the years. beacon records wants to try and revive this genre, and explore it’s sub-genres and how to utilize all of them - particularly a revival of popular r&b and soul. with these basics, we at beacon records hope to incorporate these into our modern
