beating tracks is the business partnership behind the research, development and execution of the asabaako music festival in ghana. our aim is to create an international african festival and music brand built on local foundations. festival objectives: • create an internationally recognised festival built on local foundations • showcase and combine ghanaian, wider-african and international music and culture • promote 21st century africa and ghana to the world in a positive light • support, develop and provide a platform for young ghanaian musicians • increase international and domestic tourism and boost the local economy the first asabaako festival was held on busua beach in ghana in march 2011, with a 2nd held in december 2011. we are currently seeking sponsorship for asabaako 2012, to be held over farmers' day weekend, december 7-9. beating tracks is registered both in the uk and ghana.
