the beautiful ideas co. cic is a collective of local entrepreneurs and leaders in north liverpool. our coalition of the willing was born out of the beautiful north, a wide-scale regeneration project that changed attitudes and perceptions of, and in, north liverpool. and we’re community owned car park operators. we are regenerators and place-makers who believe that they key to getting things going in a place can be found in the grassroots. since our early days in north liverpool we’ve launched a couple of programmes to date and helped to fund new homes for real folk, maker-spaces and some makers to work in them, furniture retailers, artists and artisans, events, origami making ferry boat captains, a laundrette, a co-working space and a horror experience - to mention just a few. that investment has created both jobs and a return on the investment. we give small amounts of money where other people won’t. and so far it’s worked. in addition to funding ideas, we work tirelessly with people
