a story is created. a pitch is then made to see if the story is interesting and complicated enough to hold a viewer. if that succeeds the scrutiny of others, then the story moves into a previsualization stage where 3d sets are constructed with camera fly-throughs to support the story. a lot can be learned doing previz so that if the movie is picked up for production, it can be used as a starting point. review by la firm gave 8 out of 10 for commercial viability. a script re-write is underway as well as new mocap equipment and software. if you live in the tucson area and would like to help out, please contact me asap. enjoy! david j. soto
