Been There - Mental Health Charity
'been there' is an innovative new mentoring app for young adults (18-24 year olds) designed to enable them to find a mentor to support them through challenging times. especially relevant given the uncertain times we are currently in. we are bridging the gap between silence and a counsellor. mentors are vetted and trained before joining the app. it works by the mentee and mentor uploading their profile indicating the issues they are facing. this then connects them with a mentor to address their issues (eg. body issues, stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem etc..) we are focusing on the relatability aspect which for some people is very important and is lacking when seeing a counsellor or therapist. through research we know this formula has great appeal, that there is a gap for our app and moreover there is a significant audience in need of support, guidance and inspiration as they navigate modern day challenges. twitter: https://bit.ly/35zy9i2 instagram: https://bit.ly/2yytdmq faceb
