behind the numbers (btn) was founded in 1988 as a provider of independent equity research for major institutional investors, mutual funds and hedge funds. we apply thorough forensic accounting analysis and fundamental "grass roots" research to the task of assessing both the quality of a company's earnings and its ability to grow its dividends.  our btn dividend research product applies our intensive fundamental research process to the task of identifying companies with meaningful yields capable of reliably growing their dividends over time.
