the bekind application is a simple, but powerful tool. coupled with bekind.global portal we seek to build a social ecosystem that rewards kind, helpful, cooperative, and courteous acts in public and online. it facilitates our concept of “gifting forward” a charitable token we have named “thanks”. thanks are valued at $1.00 and purchased and redeemed for charitable giving through our portal. a thank, when purchased, constitutes a charitable gift for tax purposes when put into circulation. the money is placed into an account controlled by the bekind foundation charitable 501(c)3 organization under strict laws of the u.s. which govern charities. people use the bekind mobile application, when in proximity of another …or online, to gift nudges. each user has the option to be anonymous or opt-in to connect. as people accumulate nudges, their “kind score” is visible to others based upon their “gold, silver, or bronze status”. at any time, a person with thanks in their account can log in
