belly dance wales is run by stephanie gawne-hamza; she been a professional dancer and choreographer for 20 years, now basted in cardiff wales. stephanie trained in classical ballet and modern dance at the arts educational schools, london and has enjoyed an exciting varied career as a dancer and performer in all styles of theatre. she has turkish and british citizenship and a comprehensive understanding of turkish dance and culture. she also has studied, taught and performed other forms of middle eastern dance both in turkey, the uk and egypt. this site will provide information on my classes, workshops and performances, as well as my regular hafla events and holidays. stephanie is an energetic and passionate dancer with a wealth of performing experience available for parties, festivals and restaurants. one off shows, or weekly residencies at a negotiated fee. stephanie's performance can include veils, finger cymbals, shamadan, (candelabra), isis wings and sword dances. her many costumes
