who we are: belstra milling is a family-owned regional independent feed manufacturing company located in the northwest indiana town of demotte. albert "bud" belstra established the company in 1954. what we do: our main business is manufacturing feed for livestock; mostly swine and dairy. during the 1990's, a relationship with pig improvement company (pic), a swine genetics company, grew such that today, we think of ourselves as a "supplier of genetics". not only do we represent pic but we work with producers to help them maximize their operations through knowledge gained on the farms we manage.
