benedetto tarantino was born in 1981 in palermo where he lives and works. he graduated in architecture, master, in the academic year 2008-2009, with a degree in photography titled "from the terrain vague to the genial location" that explores the relationships and contradictions between the south-east of palermo through the symbolic figure of mount pellegrino. he has worked as an assistant on site, for the realization of photographic campaigns, organized by giovanni chiaramonte and also he worked with him as an intern in the photography course at the faculty of architecture in palermo. he participate in the workshop on photojournalism with reza deghati. he took part in the international meeting ojodepez, held in barcelona by analyzing their work of photographers and writers of international renown and after that in september of 2010 is invited by the city of tarragona, spain, as the official photographer of the religious festival of santa tecla. in october 2011 he traveled to bucharest,
