Bent Pin Press

as the old saying goes, “if pin neva ben, anansi story neva end”. by far one of the most popular figures of belizean folklore, anansi forms the base of many belizean’s first contact with the literary world. we’ve chosen the name ‘bent pin press’ as a reference to how far we’ve all come as both readers and writers. we hope to maintain our journal as a place for belizean writers and poets to aspire to see their work published, an all-too-lacking medium for literary artists to see their work treated the way it deserves to be; taken seriously and showcased in legitimate print. follow us on social media to learn more about our calls for submissions.
