Benzo Research Project
we are a team of students from across the uk investigating recreational benzodiazepine usage amongst young people (18-25). our main objective? to understand and evaluate the lived experiences and motivations for non-medical use of benzodiazepines in the uk young adults. young people send in anonymous testimonies via the platform hosted by drugs and me, and a team will be conducting inductive and thematic analyses of these. this is a voluntary research project investigating the ways in which different harm reduction strategies (including education and ngo outreach) could reduce bzd consumption and improve access to drug support. find us on: twitter – @benzoresearch instagram – @benzoresearchproject
