berdoll sawmill is a family owned and operated sawmill near austin, texas. we take pride in producing the highest quality, kiln dried natural and live edge slabs and furniture grade lumber available. we exclusively harvest and mill native texas hardwood logs from sustainable sources. we specialize in milling, drying and surfacing natural edge slabs with the capacity to mill slabs up to 82 inches wide. our natural edge slabs are carefully kiln dried to a moisture content of 6-8% in our computer controlled kilns. the slabs are then surfaced flat on our 100 inch wide jointer/planer and are ready for final sanding and finishing. we stock 5,000-10,000 board feet of kiln dried 4/4 and 8/4 furniture grade native texas hardwood lumber in the following species: texas pecan, mesquite, walnut and limited quantities of other native texas species. we take extra care in keeping boards from the same tree together, providing book-matched sets as well as natural edge lumber. our lumber is sold rough sa
